'Ello!

I'm starting my post with some information about my self directed project for university. So for the start my I want to focus my project around the female body positivety. I feel like being pretty still has a stereotype but it also changes. From having a skinny waist, wearing a corset in the 1950s to the skinny tall blond girl in 2000. Now I feel that we are focused on a big ass. If you don't have a big, thin waist you're not beautiful. You're not 'thicc', a term that young people use to describe an hourglass shape. If you don't have big lips or don't wear this amount of makeup you're not worthy. On my project, I would like to step away from social media standards and focus on the people. When I see a confident person I'm inspired. When I see that someone is comfortable in their own skin, it's really amazing. For me, that's what's beauty. Beauty for me is being comfortable. For this, I got these books recently from the library to help me find more information about female artists.
